How does the Deposition Formatter work?
Add the standard legal-format trimmings to a deposition transcript: line numbering down the left margin (with a thin vertical rule), and a multi-line case caption at the top of every page. The numbering is positional — drawn on a fixed grid, not tied to the actual text content of each line — which matches how real-world deposition pages are paginated. Pick whether numbers reset 1..N on every page (most common in court reporting) or run continuously through the whole document. The case caption can be multiple lines (court name, case number, party names, what kind of pleading).
